given force A of magnitude 10 N at angle 30 degrees above the X-axis. Force B of magnitude 20 N at angle 60 degrees above the X-axis. Sum of force ponent along X-direction = 10.cos(30) + 20.cos(60) N = 18.66 N Sum of force ponent along Y-direction = 10.sin(30) + 20.sin(60) N = 15 N hence
magnitude of resultant force = square-root above the X-axis
